Some teams coming out of nowhere for the smaller conferences and making a splash this week. ORU, Iona, Middle Tennessee State were all favored to win their tournaments and lost in the semi-finals or earlier. Not necessarily a bad thing but not a good thing for the whole of the national tournament when you lose a few of the stronger lower seeds that could challenge the 2-3-4 seeds.
